Dubbing/ADR
Peter Rein: Experienced and Excited for Dubbing/ADR
Character Reel:
A Global Entertainment Industry
Dubbing or ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement OR Additional Dialogue Recording) is the process that allows viewers to consume media originating in languages outside of their native tongue. It allows viewers to understand and enjoy the content without having to read subtitles. Dubbing or ADR allows for cultural exchange as movies and TV shows can be dubbed into different languages to reach a wider audience. This helps to promote cultural understanding and appreciation, which is so incredibly important. And not only that, a well-done dubbing can enhance the viewing experience by adding nuance and emotional depth to the characters’ performances.
Technical Proficiency
Dubbing requires a very specific skill set. Not only do you need to be a fantastic voice actor, but you need incredible timing, and you need to elevate the character that already exists without breaking it. Fortunately, Peter has trained with some of the best in the industry to bring your dub to life! With anime and animation coaching from Jason Lord (Crunchyroll director), Karen Strassman (Bleach, Code Geass, Monster Hunter and many more) and live acting coaching from Fannie Brett-Rabault (7 Holdings Media) and EnbogaToday, Peter is ready to bring your characters to life! He has over 200 hours of dubbing experience in both live-action and animation, a broadcast-ready home studio, and incredible passion and enthusiasm for the craft.
